Hello, i'm a french corvette owner, if we can say that because my 74 is just a puzzle! I bought it 2.5 years ago but the project is not progessing as i thought it would be...I'm a bit depressed in front of the amount of work i have on it. I don't know any thing about mechanics but my best friend convinced me to buy it and start the reconstruction with him...problem he's living 50Km far from me and don't have time. Your site gave me precious informations but not sure i will continue my project

Found the link to this site on the Corvette Forum.
Very Informative. Can never have enough information!
I have a 80 L48 4-speed that I am getting back on the road after sitting in my garage for 34 years. 5,200 original miles.

Very useful site! I have a yellow 73 coupe, my sixth Corvette. I found this site due to the luggage rack info. My first Corvette, a 75 with luggage rack, could carry a ski rack that attached to the luggage rack. I took it skiing many times in Colorado.

THIS IS AN EXCELLANT resource. I spent some time reminiscing over the pictures of the plant/line. I worked in the corvette plant for a bit and ended up in the truck group. My time at corvette will always be remembered as a great portion of my working life. I could have transferred to Bowling Green but wanted to stay close to family. In the last 5 years I acquired a 1980 which I am now doing a full frame off restoration. Man this bringing back the memories! Thanks again for your page.

I viewed your site I was thinking of buying a 1979 c3. I’m a retired auto body tech. And remembered these models have some serious rust issues. So the pictures were a great info & refresher. I was never into vetts . My Daughter would like to purchase a older one. Do you guys have a for sale site?

Great website! I just discovered it this week and I've already spent hours reading it. I'm looking to get a 1981 soon if all works out and the info here has been most useful.

1979 Coupe....have original numbers matching engine & tranny, but put a 383 stroker in 3-1/2 yrs. ago, and totally rebuilt front & rear suspensions, among many other thing, and now in process of putting in new poly body mounts.
