Submit Your C3Corvette-C3.com is proud to showcase our readers' C3 Corvettes. Readers have been sending their cars in since the site started, and what has built up over the years is a picture of the third generation as people actually own it: numbers-matching survivors sitting next to frame-off rebuilds, big blocks next to base cars, driveway projects next to show winners. Every story is in the owner's own words.
The cars are sorted by the year they were built, 1968 through 1982. That turns out to be a useful way to browse them, because the C3 changed a great deal over those fifteen years: chrome bumpers gave way to body-colour urethane, the removable rear window disappeared and then came back as a fastback, the big block came and went, and the last cars traded carburettors for fuel injection. Pick a year and you get the reader cars from that year together with a short account of what set that year apart.
