More Reader C3 Corvettes

Anthony hails from Denver, Colorado. This is one of the nicest two-tones I have seen for a while. Looks great Anthony!

Car has a 454 HO (roller cam & rockers), TKO-600, VBP suspension, Ron Francis wiring harness, 140amp alt, hot rod air, custom gauges & seats. It Dyno'd at 400 lbs torque at the rear wheels & that was fun. On the 5^th run it went from 50 mph to 130mph in 3 seconds in 4^th. I only took it to 5K, but they said 6K would be fine. The HP was still climbing @ 5k & I figure it would have hit around 400 @ 6k. The torque was 350 @ 1.5K & went to 400 @ 2k and stayed flat to 5K when it started to drop a little.

Unfortunately we do not know who owns this Vette, but what we do know is that it is worthy of being featured as C3 of the Week.

I am the third owner this car which won a Silver Certificate in 1998 at the Bloomington Nationals. The car was purchased on March 13/05 in The small town of Waverly near Springfield IL. I have done a lot of work on the car including the brakes, water pump and radiator. The car is red with red interior and has a little over 40 thousand miles on it. I drive it in the summer only.

Original L82 engine, automatic, power locks, power windows, power antenna, alloy wheels, AC, rear electric defogger, tilt/telescoping leather wrapped steering wheel, sport mirrors w/ left remote, Gymkhana suspension. See more of Doug's Vette here

The car is "Sharkee". The engine is a 600 HP tall-deck Dart block. (454 cubes in a small block Chevy) I run a 4L80E trans and 4.11 gears in the aluminum Dana 44, which comes in '82s. The best ET so far is 11.43 seconds. Next drag racing appearance of this vette will be at Vette Magic in Sacramento Ca. in June.

Hey Bin can you add these pix to your site? I live in Mt. Vernon, NY. This is my 1st Vette. I purchased it from a girl in Mass. It came with a 454 big block and Hooker headers. Thanks.

This one was a basic basket when I bought it about 4 years ago. I worked on it till usable and it became a daily driver for a couple years. I have just pulled motor and I am ready to lift body for a frame off. I will keep updated!
