1969 Corvette Interior Colors and Trim Codes
Six interior colours were offered for 1969, in vinyl as standard with leather at extra cost. Below is every trim code, the exterior colours each was suggested with, and how to read the code on your trim tag.

How to read your trim code
Through this part of the run the trim code is a plain three-digit number with no letter in it, and the number alone tells you both the colour and the material. Read it off the trim tag, the small plate riveted to the driver's side of the body just inside the door opening, where it sits next to the paint code. Match the number against the table above: the same colour usually carries one number in vinyl and a different one in leather, so the code distinguishes a leather car from a vinyl one even when the seats have long since been recovered.

Seats and trim in 1969
Leather remained a $79.00 option. 1969 gained an inch of cabin width by thinning the door panels, and the passenger side of the dash picked up the three map pockets that are a quick way to spot the year. Headrests became standard equipment during the year.
