1970 Corvette Interior Colors and Trim Codes
Six interior colours were offered for 1970, in vinyl as standard with leather at extra cost. Below is every trim code, the exterior colours each was suggested with, and how to read the code on your trim tag.

How to read your trim code
Through this part of the run the trim code is a plain three-digit number with no letter in it, and the number alone tells you both the colour and the material. Read it off the trim tag, the small plate riveted to the driver's side of the body just inside the door opening, where it sits next to the paint code. Match the number against the table above: the same colour usually carries one number in vinyl and a different one in leather, so the code distinguishes a leather car from a vinyl one even when the seats have long since been recovered.

- Exterior and interior trim combinations were those recommended while other combinations by special order were available. Convertible top colors were Black, White or Beige.
Seats and trim in 1970
1970 brought redesigned seats with more headroom and easier access to the storage area behind them, one of the quiet improvements that make a 1970 more comfortable than a 1968 without looking any different. The custom interior with leather trim cost $158.00 and 3,191 cars had it, a high proportion of a very short model year.
